• What menus are available?
    • We have three menus available:
    • Business lunch menu, which is a three courses meal at £67 (including ½ bottle of wine and ½ bottle of still or sparkling water, coffee and petit fours)
    • An 8 courses tasting menu (lunch and dinner) with matching wine to each dish at £260 per person, or without wine at £165. Please note the last order is at 10pm.
    • A la carte menu (lunch and dinner): on average three courses without drinks or any extra is at £120 per person. Please note last orders is at 10pm.
    • Service included. No further payment or gratuities are necessary.
  • What are the opening hours?
    • We are open Wednesday – Friday 12-2pm for lunch and Tuesday – Saturday 6-10pm for dinner. We are closed on all Sundays and UK bank holidays.
    • Please note the last order for the menu exceptionnel (tasting menu) or A La Carte is 10pm.
  • When should I book?
    • We take bookings three months in advance by rolling date: for example, if you wish to book for September 25, the earliest you can make the request is June 25. We recommend giving us a call at 9am to avoid any disappointments. Reservations can be made from 9AM to 7PM Monday to Friday only. Please do bear in mind we do not take bookings over the weekend.
  • Can I book online?
    • Yes, we do take bookings via the form on the bookings page. However please do bear in mind that it can take up to three working days to receive a written response due to the high demand.
  • Do you do email confirmations?
    • Unfortunately we do not provide email confirmations. What we will do is call you a couple days beforehand to reconfirm your reservation, so please be aware and provide us with your best possible contact number.
  • Do you need to pay a deposit?
    • We do require a deposit for six or more guests. For lunch it will be £40 per person and for dinner £60 per person, which is all made refundable on arrival unless you wish to have it taken off of the bill at the end of the meal. We do have a 72hrs cancellation policy; should you wish to cancel we do recommend doing it before the 72hrs and a full refund will be made back on the card. However if you fail to show up or cancel the reservation we will keep the deposit.
  • Do you operate a cancellation list?
    • Yes, if you wish to be added to the waitlist please provide us with your name and best possible contact number. This can be done via email or by phone.
  • What is your largest table?
    • Our largest table is for a maximum of 10 people. We are not able to split parties over more than one table.
  • Do you have a dress code for the restaurant?
    • Le Gavroche operates a smart dress code, jackets and ties are optional and we do not permit any t-shirts or sportswear. Any decision regarding permitting entry to the restaurant is entirely at the management’s discretion and guests found complying with the dress code but are not attired appropriately may be denied entry.
  • Can we cater for dietary requirements?
    • Yes, we are very flexible and are happy to cater for your dietary requirements. Please let us know in advance so we can make sure we have everything we need.
  • Do you sell gift vouchers?
    • No we do not sell gift vouchers but you have the opportunity to pre-pay for your guest’s meal over the phone once they have a booking.
  • What is the closest tube station to Le Gavroche?
    • Marble Arch Station is the closest station to us, take the Park Lane exit and we are a 4 minute walk from there.
  • Are children allowed in the restaurant?
    • We do welcome children at Le Gavroche; however we do not provide high chairs or have any baby changing facilities for very small children.
  • Is there a children’s menu?
    • We do not have a specific children’s menu, but if you let us know in advance the chef will be able to prepare something appropriate.
  • Is there wheelchair access?
    • The restaurant is difficult for wheelchair access. The dining room is in the basement and accessed by two flights of stairs. However it is possible to access the restaurant in a wheelchair via the back entrance to our neighbours at 47 Park Street hotel. The lift takes you into the basement through our kitchen where you can access the main dining room. We do not have disabled toilets but you can use the bathroom in the hotel by going back up in the lift. Please kindly note that the lift is small and will be suitable for small to medium sized chairs.
  • Do you have parking?
    • We do not have private parking, however there is pay and display parking right across the road.
  • Do you do corkage?
    • Unfortunately we do not allow you to bring your own wine.
  • Can we bring a birthday cake?
    • We do not allow you to bring your own cake, but if you are celebrating a special occasion we can have a written message on your dessert plate with a candle. Alternatively we can make a chocolate truffle cake with a message for £18 per person.
  • Do you offer halal or kosher meat?
    • Unfortunately we do not offer any halal or kosher meat; however we will be able to offer you a suitable vegetarian or fish option.
  • Does Michel Roux work at Le Gavroche?
    • Michel does work at the restaurant full time, however we do not know his schedule in advance even to the date. If Michel is here he does greet all his guests.
