    Chef Patron Michel Roux Jr has been at Le Gavroche since 1985. Working with the next generation of chefs is a continual inspiration for him, and keeps him young! Outside of the kitchen, Michel is an advocate for keeping fit and healthy, not just for physical health, but more importantly for mental well-being.

  • Rachel

    Chef Consultant Rachel Humphrey has worked at Le Gavroche since 1996. A nine-year-old Chef Rachel watched the legendary Albert Roux on TV, before stepping through his doors as an apprentice at eighteen and feeling his gargantuan presence whisk through every inch of the Le Gavroche.

  • The Sisters

    Ursula and Silvia Perberschlager, familiarly known as ‘The Sisters’, joined Le Gavroche in 2001. For The Sisters, it’s the culture of rigorous routine and mastery at Le Gavroche that fuels their passion for the job after two decades. “You could drop us into any point during mise en place or service, and it’s like a fish dropped back into water” – they feel at home here.

  • Gaël

    Gaël Combettes joined Le Gavroche in 2019. He takes great pride in representing what he describes as the ‘history, legacy, and dynasty of the Roux family’ in his role as at Chez Roux, the Roux family’s corporate and private catering and experiences company. He takes huge inspiration from Chef Michel in his ‘sleeves-rolled-up’ approach.

    Edwina Simon started at Le Gavroche in 2013. Executive Assistant to Chef Michel, she enjoys the family-like culture at Le Gavroche and Chez Roux. She is proud to be a part of this new era for Le Gavroche and the Roux family.
